Even though grades are given, our focus is upon spiritual growth and maturity rather than scholastic accomplishment. Grades are administered in order to help the student gauge their progress in spiritual development.
Grading System
DCU utilizes a 'letter' grading system that is based upon the following scale:

| 63% to 66% | D | 1.00 point |
| 60% to 62% | D- | 0.67 points |
| Below 60% | F | 0. points |

All students who have completed three years of study and extra-curricular activities, have settled all financial liabilities related to the School of Ministry, have exhibited the development of Christian character and maturity to the extent that DCU has no hesitation recommending them, and have a grade average of 70% or better, will graduate at a formal ceremony at the end of the third school year. Presbytery is available upon graduation, if not joining the Evangel Association of Churches and Ministries (EACM), upon request. Students must submit a letter of intent to graduate to the registrar’s office by the end of Term II in order to graduate in June of that year.
